We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Intensivist to manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive critical care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
Perform and supervise critical care procedures including intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, and ventilator management.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Participate in emergency response and code blue situations.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control measures, and quality standards.
Participate in clinical audits, training, and continuous medical education programs.
Qualifications
MD/DNB in , Pulmonary Medicine, General Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine.
Fellowship/DM/DNB in Critical Care Medicine preferred.
Valid Medical Council Registration.
Experience in ICU and critical care management preferred.
