Position Summary
We are looking for a Jewellery CAD Designer with 3–5 years of experience in jewellery design and production CAD. The ideal candidate should be capable of converting sketches, reference images, and client concepts into accurate, production-ready CAD models while balancing aesthetics, wearability, and manufacturing requirements.
This role requires strong technical understanding of jewellery construction, stone setting, casting limitations, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, necklaces, bridal jewellery, and custom pieces.
- Convert sketches, images, and client references into production-ready CAD designs.
- Develop innovative design solutions while maintaining manufacturability.
- Prepare CAD files suitable for CAM, printing, and casting processes.
- Modify existing CADs based on client feedback and approval changes.
- Ensure accurate stone layouts, dimensions, weights, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with production teams, setters, polishers, and management to resolve technical challenges.
- Assist in product development and design optimization.
- Maintain proper file organization and version control of CAD projects.
- Support urgent design revisions and production requirements when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of jewellery CAD experience.
- Proficiency in Rhino and MatrixGold (or equivalent jewellery CAD software).
- Strong understanding of gemstone setting techniques.
- Knowledge of casting, assembly, polishing, and manufacturing constraints.
- Ability to estimate metal weights and understand production tolerances.
- Experience designing diamond, gemstone, and bridal jewellery.
- Ability to create clean, technically accurate, production-ready models.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Polki/Jadau jewellery CAD.
- Experience handling custom jewellery projects.
- Exposure to high-value diamond jewellery.
- Understanding of CAM and rapid prototyping workflows.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
