Sub - Responsibilities
Testing & Analysis (Execution)
· Core Analysis: "Conduct Inspection Tests & Analysis" of Cattle Feed samples (RM & FG) for parameters like Protein, Fat, Fiber, Moisture, and Silica etc. as per defined methods.
· Sample Preparation: Perform sample preparation of received samples as per defined SOP.
· Solution Preparation: "Prepare test solutions and reagents" required for daily analysis as per the standard normality/molarity instructions provided by the Head Chemist.
· Verification: "Check Weighing scale and distilled water" for accuracy before starting daily analysis.
· Retention Samples: Maintain a properly sealed, labelled, and stored retention sample of every received lot for future reference or dispute analysis.
SAP QM & Data Entry
· Data Entry: "On-time RM & FG analysis results entry in BAARCIS (Baramati Agro Analytical & Research Centre – Information System) & SAP" (Result Recording) immediately after the test is completed to avoid data lag.
· Accuracy: Ensure the values entered in the system match the physical rough book/register exactly.
· Reporting: "Complete & document all Laboratory reports with no error" and submit them to the Head chemist for verification.
Equipment & Lab Maintenance
· Daily Maintenance: "Conduct regular equipment checks" (cleaning of titration burettes, cleaning of NIR cups, calibration of pH meter, etc.) before and after use.
· Hygiene: Ensure strict cleanliness of the work station, washing of glassware, and proper disposal of tested samples.
· Resource Usage: Use chemicals and glassware responsibly to avoid wastage; inform the Head Chemist immediately if any chemical stock is running low.
GLP & Safety Compliance
· Good Laboratory Practice: "Following all procedure for good laboratory practice like sampling, cleaning of utensils, preparation of standard solutions, etc." without deviation.
· SOP Adherence: "Comply with all standard operating procedures at all times" regarding safety, testing, and documentation.
· Safety: Wear mandatory PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while handling Acid/Alkali and while going for sampling in the warehouse/yard.
· Hygiene: Ensure the laboratory environment is kept clean and organized.
· Handover: Provide a clear status of "Pending Samples" to the next shift Chemist during shift change.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
