Job Summary
You will be responsible for administering, troubleshooting, and enhancing enterprise monitoring platforms with a primary focus on Zabbix and Splunk APM/Synthetic Monitoring. The role also supports OpenText Operations Bridge Manager (OBM), SiteScope, and OpenText APM for comprehensive infrastructure and application performance monitoring. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, onboarding, alert tuning, and collaboration with L3 and application teams to strengthen end-to-end observability.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Zabbix monitoring, including templates, triggers, LLD rules, dashboards, and proxy/agent issues.Support and optimize Splunk APM and Synthetic Monitoring, including script updates, service maps, KPIs, and end-to-end performance visibility.Execute troubleshooting for monitoring alerts and incidents, perform impact analysis, and coordinate with L3 teams for complex escalations.Onboard new applications, servers, and services into Zabbix, Splunk APM, and OpenText monitoring tools.Work with OpenText OBM, SiteScope, and OpenText APM for Application Monitoring Configuration, policy management, event correlation, and agent diagnostics.Maintain runbooks, SOPs, platform configuration documents, and knowledge repository for smooth operational continuity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance observability and improve monitoring maturity.
