Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bio Chemistry Technician to perform routine and specialized hematology tests with accuracy and efficiency on fully automatic machine. The role involves handling samples, operating analyzers, maintaining quality standards, and supporting pathologists in diagnostic reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized hematology investigations including CBC, ESR, Peripheral Smear, Reticulocyte Count, Coagulation tests, etc.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain hematology analyzers and related laboratory equipment.
- Prepare and examine peripheral blood smears and report findings accurately.
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, processing, and storage.
- Follow SOPs, NABL/ISO guidelines, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain quality control records and participate in internal and external QC programs.
- Document test results accurately in LIS/manual registers.
- Identify abnormal results and promptly escalate to the Pathologist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hematology section.
- Coordinate with phlebotomy, reception, and reporting teams for smooth workflow.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hematology procedures and laboratory practices.
- Experience on COBAS, BECKMAN, BIORAD TURBO and ACL top analysers and should be willing to do night duties.
- Hands-on experience with automated hematology analyzers.
- Good understanding of quality control and laboratory compliance standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with LIS preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a NABL-accredited diagnostic laboratory or hospital setup.
- Exposure to high-volume sample processing is an added advantage.

- Shift-based work, including weekends/holidays as per laboratory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
