Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Incharge to manage the site store operations, inventory control, material receipt, storage, issuance, and record maintenance at our civil construction project sites. The candidate will ensure proper stock management and timely availability of construction materials while maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations at the construction site.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Issue materials to site teams against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain stock registers, inward/outward records, and inventory reports.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement department for replenishment.
- Maintain material consumption records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Material Issue Slips, and Gate Passes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors regarding material requirements.
- Implement proper housekeeping and safety standards within the store area.
- Prevent material wastage, loss, theft, and damage.
