Amazon is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to manage the Integrated Centralized Monitoring & Response System (iCMRS) — a pioneering innovation within Amazon's Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) organization. The iCMRS is a unified platform that integrates monitoring and response capabilities across all miles of Amazon's supply chain, including Last Mile (AMZL), Middle Mile (ATS), Fulfillment Centers (FC), and Grocery & Specialty Fulfillment (GSF). Operating from a centralized Control Center in Bangalore, the system leverages remote CCTV monitoring, data-driven investigation tools, and process audit frameworks to deliver loss prevention interventions, crisis and incident response, and operational process compliance across 190+ sites in India, Singapore, and Japan. As the iCMRS Manager, you will lead a team of 8 direct reports and oversee 90+ contractual specialists responsible for 24/7 monitoring operations, focused investigations, proactive process audits, and real-time incident response. Key job responsibilities
- You will be accountable for driving measurable financial impact by assisting field SLP investigations with tailor-fit CCTV analysis that results in package rescue-recovery actions, identification of bad actors, and supporting law enforcement referrals.
- The role demands a leader who can innovate and operate at scale, manage complex stakeholder relationships across Operations, Legal, Employee Relations, and PXT teams, and continuously innovate to expand the system's capabilities into new geographies and use cases.
- Provide guidance and support for Security and Loss Prevention teams; supply chain, logistics and transportation operations and coordination groups, other stakeholders with the Amazon organization and third parties.
- Deploy and implement risk assessment methodologies specifically cut to address current and foreseeable risks within the last mile environments, scenarios and use cases; methods to identify and implement the security strategies for last mile itineraries within the region, in accordance with risks assessment; and conducting security due diligence assessments on potential business partners such as wholesalers, third party logistics, delivery service providers (DSP), and other business-critical functions regionally
- Implement key liaison contacts in industry, law enforcement, government and regulatory agencies to maintain awareness of and provide tactical response to upcoming legislation, industry trends, external risks and new technologies related to last mile operations
- Ensure compliance to internal standards by means of supporting the Global Security Risk Compliance Audit team in defining the requirements for Last Mile (LM) Security; collaborate and provide expertise in conducting internal security audits; partner with appropriate stakeholders to implement effective audit programs to detect, prevent and resolve LM losses; implement and provide guidance for conducting audits to assess the Last Mile Security of business partners, vendors, third party logistics providers, and carriers in the areas of transportation, sortation, and delivery distribution; and follow up on definition and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Implement internal business stakeholder support in order to promote security as added value and business differentiator; provide direct input to the relevant internal stakeholders and operational teams on high risk new business initiatives within the last mile environment; partner with appropriate internal stakeholders to provide security input regarding the selection of third party last mile providers (DSP); implement key collaborations with regional stakeholders to implement consistent standards, programs, assessments and procedures for the network with careful consideration for implementing and maintaining relationships with affiliate management and international partners
- Contribute with expertise for the implementation of last mile Security awareness campaigns for general sensitization of personnel, and specific training packages for S&LP personnel, including, international, threat and risk assessment, risk management, loss prevention, intelligence and MO’s, incident management, and investigations
- Contribute to reduce business losses on security incidents and related claims by identifying and understanding vulnerabilities, MO’s, and implementation the appropriate means and measures to protect transported assets in the last mile environments. Direct involvement in complex investigations at a high level. If required also act as the lead interface for wholesalers and third party providers. Implement strategies and programs which prevent theft, diversion and losses from the supply chain in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
