Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to develop innovative and functional interior design solutions for residential, commercial, retail, and corporate projects. The candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing designs, preparing drawings, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring successful project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning
- Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives.
- Prepare space planning, layouts, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Create detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, and 3D visualizations.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Client Coordination
- Meet clients to understand design requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Present design concepts and incorporate client feedback.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout project execution.
Project Execution
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress.
- Ensure designs are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Resolve design-related issues during project implementation.
Documentation & Estimation
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
- Assist in project costing and budgeting.
- Maintain project documentation and design records.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure design quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Follow industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Conduct final inspections before project handover.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Interior Design Principles and Space Planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare detailed working drawings and BOQs.
- Strong visualization and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
- Good project coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishing works.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Experience in residential, commercial, retail, or corporate interior projects preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong site coordination and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing and turnkey interior projects will be an added advantage.
