Job Description Store Executive
- Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Accounts departments.
- Check material quantity, item codes, specifications, and physical condition.
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other material receiving documents.
- Store materials systematically with proper identification, labeling, and location coding.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/SAP or inventory management systems.
- Issue raw materials, components, and consumables to production against approved material requisitions.
- Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper records of inward, outward, transfer, and return materials.
- Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection and segregation of rejected or non-conforming materials.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and workplace safety in the store area.
- Manage scrap, rejected, and surplus materials as per company procedures.
- Support inventory audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Follow company procedures, 5S, safety rules, and ISO requirements.
- Ensure materials are available to production on time to avoid line stoppages.
