Job Title: Maintenance Head
Location: Silvassa (Near Mumbai)

About the Company
We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel, metal, and wooden products, catering to domestic and international markets. Our manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced fabrication machinery, CNC equipment, welding systems, powder coating lines, woodworking machinery, and material handling equipment. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head to ensure maximum equipment availability, plant efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete maintenance function of the manufacturing plant.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime with minimum production disruptions.
- Maintain fabrication equipment including welding machines, CNC machines, cutting machines, bending machines, presses, compressors, DG sets, woodworking machinery, and powder coating systems.
- Monitor utility systems including electrical panels, transformers, compressors, HVAC, air lines, water systems, and generators.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets and control maintenance costs.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor development for maintenance requirements.
- Lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, electricians, and fitters.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and Stores departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to electrical safety, factory maintenance, fire safety, and equipment inspections.
- Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, equipment history cards, and audit documentation.
- Plan and execute installation, commissioning, relocation, and modification of machinery.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Maintenance Management, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- 12–18 years of experience in maintenance within fabrication or manufacturing industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a maintenance team.
- Experience in steel fabrication, metal processing, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, engineering products, or heavy fabrication industries preferred.
