Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
- Optimise website speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Perform WordPress updates, backups, and security maintenance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, or other popular WordPress tools.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of website optimisation, security best practices, and SEO fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce development.
