The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all plumbing works at the project site, ensuring that installations are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role involves managing site manpower, monitoring work quality, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring timely project completion.
- Supervise all plumbing installation activities at the project site.
- Ensure plumbing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
- Allocate daily work to plumbers and subcontractors and monitor their productivity.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and firefighting teams to avoid work conflicts.
- Monitor installation of water supply, drainage, sewerage, storm water, and sanitary systems.
- Inspect materials received at site and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and conduct regular quality inspections.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project status to the Project Manager.
- Identify and resolve site issues related to plumbing installations.
- Ensure work is completed within the approved project schedule.
- Maintain site records, material consumption, and manpower attendance.
- Verify measurements for subcontractor billing and material reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Attend site coordination meetings and communicate project requirements to the workforce.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of plumbing systems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and sanitary installations.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with project documentation and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- 4–8 years of experience in plumbing installation and supervision for commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in MEP projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
