The Transport Operations Coordinator will be responsible for handling daily transport activities, ensuring smooth vehicle movement, proper documentation, and effective coordination between drivers, clients, and internal departments to achieve timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet & Trip Management
- Monitor daily vehicle movement and trip schedules.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding loading, unloading, and route updates.
- Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery of consignments.
- Maintain and track vehicle documents such as RC, Insurance, PUC, Permits, and Fitness certificates.
2. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Provide shipment updates to clients.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when required.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and brokers for smooth operations.
3. Documentation & Billing Support
- Maintain trip sheets, LR copies, and POD (Proof of Delivery).
- Ensure complete documentation for billing purposes.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for freight billing and payment follow-ups.
4. Reporting & Records Management
- Prepare daily and weekly vehicle movement reports.
- Maintain fuel records and trip expense statements.
- Update CRM/ERP/Tally entries related to transport operations.
5. Compliance & Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to transport regulations and company policies.
- Monitor driver attendance and trip allocation.
- Maintain proper operational records for audits and review.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and transport operations preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Bhusawal or nearby areas.
Required Skills
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Tally, or ERP systems.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Salary Range
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,500.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
