Job Title: Transport Driver (Heavy Vehicle)
Location: Trivandrum, Kerala
Key Responsibilities:
- Student & Staff Transportation: Safely transport students and staff between hostels, residences, and Xylem Learning centers according to the daily schedule.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Care: Operate heavy vehicles responsibly, keep the vehicle clean, and conduct regular daily checks (fuel, brakes, tires, and fluid levels). Promptly report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, navigate urban congestion safely, and manage passenger boarding and deboarding. Ensure personal driving credentials and vehicle documents remain valid and up to date.
- Operations & Communication: Stay in constant touch with transport coordinators, hostel wardens, and administrative teams. Immediately report any traffic delays, route changes, or emergencies.
Requirements:
- Education: SSLC or Plus Two (Preferred).
- Licensing: Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License with a Passenger Badge.
- Experience: Proven experience driving heavy vehicles, commercial buses, or institutional transport for schools, colleges, or coaching institutes.
- Skills: Strong familiarity with Trivandrum’s local roads, bypass routes, and traffic patterns, along with fluency in Malayalam.
- Attributes: Punctual, reliable, safety-conscious, and patient in high-traffic conditions.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
