Position: Draftsman / 3D CAD Designer

What We're Looking For,
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman / 3D CAD Designer with strong expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp to support our environmental engineering and EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings, developing 3D plant layouts, supporting project execution teams, and ensuring all design deliverables meet technical and project requirements.
The role requires a strong understanding of civil, mechanical, piping, and utility layouts associated with wastewater treatment and industrial infrastructure projects.
What You Will Own and Do
1.
Engineering Drafting & Design Development
· Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
· Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings for ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD, and industrial utility systems.
· Draft piping layouts, equipment layouts, civil tank drawings, and structural drawings.
· Create fabrication and installation drawings as required.
· Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, and isometric drawings.
· Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and engineering standards.

3D Modeling & Visualization
· Develop 3D models and layouts using SketchUp.
· Create plant layouts and equipment placement models for client presentations and project execution.
· Generate realistic 3D visualizations and renderings for design reviews.
· Assist engineering teams in design visualization and project planning.
· Update and modify 3D models based on project requirements and site conditions.
3.
Project Coordination & Execution Support
· Coordinate with Process Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Civil Engineers, and Project Teams.
· Incorporate engineering inputs and design revisions into project drawings.
· Support site execution teams with drawing clarifications and updates.
· Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions.
· Ensure timely issuance of approved drawings for project execution.

Drawing Revisions & Document Control
· Update drawings based on site modifications, client comments, and engineering changes.
· Maintain drawing revision records and document control procedures.
· Ensure the latest revisions are available to project stakeholders.
· Archive and maintain project drawing databases systematically.
5.
Technical Support
· Assist in preparing technical presentations and project documentation.
· Support proposal and estimation teams with layout preparation.
· Conduct drawing quantity checks and design coordination activities.
· Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

Qualifications Educational
· Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Draftsman Course, or equivalent technical qualification.
· Certification in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related drafting software will be an added advantage.
Experience
· 0-2 years of experience in drafting and design.
· Experience in ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD, industrial utilities, EPC projects, or environmental engineering projects will be highly preferred.
· Experience in industrial plant layout design and infrastructure projects is desirable.
