Key Responsibilities
- Rate Negotiation & Quotations: Secure competitive rates with airlines, manage spot quotes, and respond to tenders for air import shipments.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze total routing costs, including surcharges (GRI, PSS), local charges, and terminal fees.
- Market Monitoring & Collaboration: Track market trends and work with sales/operations for client tenders and operational support.
Core Requirements
- Experience & Skills: Usually requires 1–5 years in air freight forwarding, strong vendor relationships, analytical skills for cost optimization, and proficiency in logistics software.
