We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day execution of steel structure and piping work at site. The candidate should be skilled in handling manpower, coordinating with clients, and ensuring quality and safety compliance.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Site Execution:* Supervise erection of steel structures, equipment, and industrial piping as per approved drawings
2. *Manpower Handling:* Lead and manage skilled/semi-skilled manpower, fitters, welders, and contractors to meet daily targets
3. *Quality & Safety:* Ensure all work is carried out as per QA/QC standards, client specifications, and HSE guidelines
4. *Coordination:* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams for site progress, inspections, and approvals
5. *Documentation:* Maintain daily progress reports, manpower logs, material consumption, and site hindrance records
6. *Problem Solving:* Identify site issues early and coordinate with engineering/PM team for timely resolution
7. *Material Control:* Check material receipt at site, ensure proper storage, and control wastage
*Requirements:*
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of site experience in steel structure and piping projects
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, erection, welding procedures, and isometric drawings
- Experience in handling manpower and subcontractors
- Good communication skills for client handling and team coordination
- Knowledge of safety standards and site protocols
*Preferred:* Experience in food/pharma/ plant projects with hygiene requirements.
