Contract Backend Engineer

Role Purpose
We are looking for a Backend Engineer on a 6-month contract to develop, enhance, and maintain Mykare’s backend applications and services. The role will focus on delivering scalable APIs, integrations, and backend features within defined project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Work with SQL databases, Kafka, and cloud platforms.
- Develop features based on product and technical requirements.
- Debug and resolve application and production issues.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams.
- Follow best practices for Git, Docker, CI/CD, testing, and code quality.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Kafka, and Microservices.
- Understanding of System Design and OOPS.
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within timelines.
- Node.js knowledge is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
