Accountant
We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our retail business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete accounting records in Tally Prime.
- Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment, contra, and journal entries.
- Manage daily retail billing, stock, and inventory records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash books.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, debit/credit notes, and financial reports.
- Maintain Excel reports and MIS.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of all accounting activities.
Requirements
- Must have excellent command of Tally Prime and be highly proficient in all day-to-day accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, IF formulas, etc.).
- Good understanding of GST, inventory management, stock reconciliation, and retail accounting.
- Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in a retail business is preferred.
