Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Sales to lead our sales operations, drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen distributor and retail networks across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and extensive experience in FMCG or beverage sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth across General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, and Institutional channels.
- Build, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and key channel partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Sales Executives.
- Monitor sales performance, market share, and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution reach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Ensure effective implementation of trade schemes, promotions, and brand visibility initiatives.
- Forecast sales, prepare budgets, and analyze sales reports.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Operations for smooth business execution.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate team performance and customer satisfaction.
