Key Responsibilities :
- Creation of MDS on IMDS and CDX tool.
- Knowledge of automotive material selection, classification and applications
- Collect Review and document accurate material data including composition, weight and recycling information
- Review and approve supplier data submission in IMDS and CDX.
- Knowledge of regulations such as Reach,RoHS, Prop65, TSCA Section 6(h),PFAS, POPs, PCTS and ELV Directives.
- Coordinate with Supplier at global level to obtain supplier declaration.
- Manages and maintain the data quality in our database; cleans up as needed.
- Prepare and share work status and strategies with Leadership Team.
- Prioritize work based on customer requirements and business unit needs. Utilize technology to gain efficiencies and eliminate redundancies and help Team members.
- Manage data collection for unique, complex or time sensitive customer substance of concern requests.
- Assesses current processes and identifies opportunities for the appropriate functional groups to improve substance restriction compliance.
- Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Packages : Word,Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Working Knowledge of US and European Union product-based regulations and directives, Such as Reach, RoHS, California Prop65, TSCA Section 6(h),PoPs and PFAS etc.
- Good knowledge of BOM and Product drawings.
- Experience with the following technical systems a plus: MS Office, MS SharePoint, Oracle ERP, Teamcenter, Business Intelligence (BI).

Relevant Experience:
- 4-5 Years of previous experience supporting environmental compliance, material compliance or quality management programs within a manufacturing organization is preferred.
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
- Ability to travel approximately 10% per year.
- Ability to read, analyze SDS,Material Compliance documents and interpret the engineering document (drawings and Engineering Standards and specifications).
- Ability to respond timely & effectively to the critical inquiries.
- Ability to make effective presentation on regular updates and critical issues to Global team.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
