We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager / Lead Developer who can lead engineering teams, drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and work closely with clients to build world-class products.
Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager / Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end product engineering initiatives — from technical architecture and planning to execution and delivery. You will collaborate with product stakeholders, manage developers, ensure engineering quality, and actively contribute to development when required.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical problem-solving with team leadership and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Design scalable and maintainable software architectures
- Lead development of full-stack applications and distributed systems
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Drive technical decision-making across projects
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
- Ensure high-quality deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure practices
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of developers
- Conduct technical discussions, sprint planning, and estimations
- Improve engineering productivity and delivery quality
- Help build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership and accountability
- Support hiring, onboarding, and developer growth
Project & Client Collaboration
- Work directly with clients to understand business requirements
- Translate product requirements into technical execution plans
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical presentations
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones and project goals
- Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams or projects
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or React Native
- Backend experience with Python/Django, Node.js, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of APIs, authentication, and security practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/LLM-based applications
- Experience with data engineering or analytics platforms
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS, or distributed systems
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
