Job Summary
The Trainer – Line Assembler (Telecom Products) will be responsible for delivering classroom and practical training to candidates on telecom product assembly processes, tools, safety practices, and quality standards as per the prescribed curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day operations of the training centre.
· Ensure smooth implementation of training, mobilization, and placement activities as per the allocations.
· Maintain compliance with DDU-GKY SOPs and quality standards.
· Supervise trainers, mobilizers, placement officers, and support staff.
· Monitor attendance, hostel facilities, OJT, and candidate welfare.
· Coordinate with State Head/Project Head and provide timely reports/MIS.
· Facilitate audits, inspections, and ensure documentation accuracy.
· Build local industry linkages for placement opportunities.
· Placement tieup, New buissness, Placement retention
· uild tieups with SHG, Grampanchayat, NGO, Colleges, Schools for achieving mobilisation targets
· Conduct regular training and counselling sessions to motivate students for better retention and successful placement.
· Deliver theory and practical training on telecom product assembly.
· Demonstrate use of tools such as screwdrivers, crimping tools, soldering iron, and measuring instruments.
· Train candidates on assembly line process, wiring, soldering, crimping, testing, and packing.
· Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, attendance, and assessment records.
· Conduct practical demonstrations and evaluate candidate performance.
· Ensure proper usage and maintenance of lab equipment and training material.
· Guide candidates on safety, quality standards, 5S, and workplace discipline.
· Support candidates in assessments, interviews, and placement preparation.
· Maintain all required documents as per SSC/NSDC guidelines.
Required Skills
· Good knowledge of telecom products, assembly process, and production line operations.
· Practical knowledge of tools and testing equipment.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage classroom and workshop sessions.
· Basic computer knowledge for report preparation.
Trainer Qualification
· Graduate in any discipline, preferably Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Optical Fiber / Telecom domain.
· Certified Trainer mapped to Qualification Pack MEP/Q2601 v3.0 with minimum 80% aggregate score.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
