Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) to join our quality team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inspecting electrical components, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring products meet customer specifications before dispatch. Experience with ERP systems, SAP, and Tally is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished electrical products.
- Inspect electrical components to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Verify product quality before dispatch and maintain inspection records.
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and dispatch teams to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports and documentation.
- Update inspection data and records using ERP software.
- Ensure adherence to company quality procedures and customer specifications.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical components and quality inspection processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Tally.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality, PDI, or Electrical Inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in electrical or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
