Position: Fashion Designer
Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts based on market trends and brand direction
- Create design sheets, cost sheets, tech packs, and collection presentations
- Research ongoing fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, colors, and trims
- Coordinate with karigars, jobbers, vendors, and sampling team for smooth execution
- Handle sampling development from concept to final garment
- Work on fabric sourcing, trims sourcing, embellishments, and handwork developments
- Create moodboard, hand sketches and digital illustrations for collection development
- Ensure proper color combinations, styling, and design detailing
- Follow up on fittings, corrections, finishing, and production approvals
- Maintain timelines and manage multiple design developments simultaneousl
- Work closely with merchandising, production, and marketing teams
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & MS Office
- Good hand sketching and fashion illustration skills
- Strong research and trend forecasting ability
- Understanding of garment construction and sampling processes
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, embroidery, and handwork techniques
- Strong color sense and styling aesthetics
- Ability to coordinate with jobbers and vendors effectively
- Fast working and execution capability
- Ability to handle workload pressure and tight deadlines
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ethnic, domestic market preferred
- Knowledge of print development and surface ornamentation is an advantage
- Understanding of production feasibility and costing preferred
