Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role involves lead generation, client meetings, proposal submission, negotiation, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, references, and networking.
- Generate leads from commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
- Conduct client meetings and present company products/services.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Follow up on pending quotations and close deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Coordinate with technical/project teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain proper CRM records of leads and follow-ups.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify competitor activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good presentation abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)
- Ability to work on targets
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license (if field work)
Qualification:
- Any Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in sales/business development
