Role Purpose
The Packing Incharge is responsible for ensuring that all products are packed accurately according to approved specifications, correct lot numbers are entered as per the production recipe, and finished goods are prepared for dispatch without errors.
Key ResponsibilitiesPacking Verification
- Ensure products are packed as per the approved packing specifications.
- Verify correct packaging material, pack size, and quantity before packing begins.
- Check that bags, drums, cartons, and other packaging are properly sealed and free from damage.
Lot & Recipe Verification
- Verify that the correct lot number is entered on every package as per the production recipe and batch records.
- Cross-check production sheets with packing records before dispatch.
- Ensure no mixing or mislabeling of lots occurs during packing.
Label & Documentation Control
- Ensure all labels contain correct product name, shade, lot number, net weight, and other required details.
- Maintain accurate packing records and lot-wise documentation.
- Report and correct any discrepancies immediately.
Quality & Dispatch
- Conduct final inspection of packed goods before they are moved to dispatch.
- Ensure packed goods meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team for proper stacking and loading.
Team Supervision
- Supervise packing staff and allocate daily work.
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness in the packing area.
- Follow and enforce safety procedures during packing operations.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
