Our flagship property, is located in the serene hill town of Rumtek, Sikkim — offering guests a curated experience across conference and banquet halls, a full-service restaurant, bar, rooftop dining, spa, and bespoke event spaces. We are building a brand defined by warmth, design, and purposeful hospitality.
The role
We are looking for a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to lead our corporate and B2B revenue efforts. You will be the face of TAPSOM Hospitality and all hotels under its brand, in the marketplace — identifying opportunities, building lasting client partnerships, and converting business potential into sustained revenue. This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on the hotel's commercial growth.
Key responsibilities
Business development & proposals
Design tailor-made business proposals aligned with the hotel's product offerings. Identify and proactively engage prospective clients, converting leads into confirmed business through structured prospect management.
Corporate client acquisition
Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate accounts across sectors. Establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers, HR teams, and procurement contacts at companies and institutions.
Industry networking & preferred partner status
Maintain active engagement within the travel, MICE, and corporate hospitality ecosystem. Cultivate relationships with travel agents, event planners, and industry associations to earn preferred partner status and drive referral business.
Corporate event revenue generation
Drive revenue through corporate events hosted at the property, including offsite meetings, team retreats, product launches, and incentive programs ,by pitching the full event infrastructure of TAPSOM.
Location & Reporting : Kolkata (with travel to Rumtek, Sikkim)
