We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive retail and digital sales for Malieakal Electronics. The candidate must possess thorough product knowledge in laptops, computers, printers, mobile phones, CCTV systems, and home appliances. The role involves in-store sales, online enquiry handling, digital lead conversion, and customer relationship management while maintaining Malieakal’s premium service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive sales of laptops, desktops, printers, mobiles, CCTV systems, and home appliances.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Promote high-margin and value-added products (AMC, Extended Warranty, accessories).
Upsell and cross-sell related products effectively.
2. Digital Sales & Online Lead Handling
Respond to WhatsApp, website, Instagram, and Facebook enquiries promptly.
Convert digital leads into confirmed sales.
Share product specifications, pricing, and comparison details digitally.
Coordinate digital promotions and online campaigns.
Follow up with online enquiries and maintain proper lead records.
3. Technical Expertise
Provide product demonstrations and technical explanations to customers.
Guide customers in choosing suitable laptops, printers, CCTV setups, or appliances based on usage.
Explain features like processor type, RAM, storage, inverter technology, energy rating, connectivity, etc.
Assist in basic troubleshooting and pre-installation support.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Build strong customer trust through transparent communication.
Ensure smooth coordination with billing, logistics, and service teams.
Maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.
5. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor pricing and offers.
Identify trending digital products and customer demands.
Suggest new product opportunities to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2+ years experience in electronics or appliance sales.
Strong knowledge of:
Laptops & Computers (HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.)
Printers (Inkjet, LaserJet)
Mobile phones & accessories
CCTV & networking basics
Home appliances (AC, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, TV)
Strong digital communication skills.
Experience handling CRM / billing software preferred.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
