We are looking for two skilled Electrician Fitters to join our shipbuilding team. The candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment onboard vessels and within the shipyard, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, cable trays, panels, switchboards, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Install and terminate power, control, and communication cables.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in marine equipment and systems.
- Test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate testing instruments.
- Assist in commissioning and sea trials of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to complete projects on schedule.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of marine electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
