Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: [Chennai ]
Client: Australia-based Service Company
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Perform pipe sizing and hydraulic calculations
- Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs)
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and instrumentation teams
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME, ISO, ANSI)
- Support project execution for water / chemical plants / FMCG
- Work on design documentation and technical reports
Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in process & piping design
- Strong knowledge of:
- P&ID
- Pipe sizing
- Process calculations
- Experience in tools like:
- AutoCAD / Plant 3D / any related software / excel
- Good communication skills (client coordination – Australia)
Preferred:
- Experience in EPC or consultancy companies
- Exposure to international projects
