ROLE SUMMARY
This is a backend sales role at our Kolkata Head Office. You will be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries from interior designers, architects, and private clients who reach us through our website, email, 1stDibs, and social platforms. Your mandate is to respond swiftly and eloquently, prepare accurate quotations, follow up with discipline, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders — all while maintaining the tone and precision that a luxury brand demands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
› Respond to 10–20 inbound enquiries daily across website, email, 1stDibs, and social channels — within agreed turnaround times.
› Prepare and send accurate quotations using the company price master, including product specifications, finishes, lead times, and shipping terms.
› Conduct structured follow-up calls and emails on each open enquiry until a clear outcome is reached.
› Maintain complete and current records of every enquiry, quotation, and follow-up in the CRM.
› Coordinate internally with design, production, and logistics teams to confirm pricing, customisation feasibility, and delivery timelines.
› Prepare simple product presentations and catalogue extracts for client requests.
› Share a weekly enquiry pipeline report with management.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
› Excellent written English — polished, warm, and precise. You will correspond with clients who expect refinement.
› Strong spoken English; fluency in Bengali and Hindi preferred.
› 2-4 years of experience in luxury sales, HNI client handling, or a client-facing pre-sales / inside sales role (real estate, export, hospitality, B2B preferred).
› 2-4 years of hands-on experience with CRM tools, inbound enquiry management, follow-up workflows, and client email communication.
› Convent-educated background preferred — the written and spoken English standard this role demands is non-negotiable.
› Proficiency in MS Excel and standard email tools.
› Comfort discussing and negotiating premium price points without hesitation.
› Discipline and ownership — nothing falls through the cracks.
