Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer with experience in the structural steel industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quality inspection procedures, documentation, and quality standards to ensure products meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with structural steel quality standards and internal quality procedures.
- Identify quality issues and report deviations for corrective action.
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain quality requirements.
- Support internal quality audits and documentation activities.
- Verify product dimensions, welding quality, and other inspection parameters as required.
- Assist in implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper maintenance of quality-related records and reports.
Required Skills
- Experience in quality inspection within the structural steel industry.
- Good knowledge of quality documentation and reporting.
- Understanding of structural steel quality standards and inspection processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining quality records.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in the structural steel industry.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
