Job Description – Accountant (E-Commerce Industry)
Location: Karol Bagh, Delhi
Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Record daily financial transactions and journal entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within deadlines.
Handle TDS deductions, payments, and return filing.
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
Banking & Reconciliation
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Reconcile payment gateway transactions (Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, etc.).
Monitor cash flow and manage vendor and customer payments.
E-Commerce Accounting
Manage accounting for online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, Shopify, and other platforms.
Reconcile marketplace settlements, commissions, refunds, returns, and deductions.
Track inventory-related financial transactions.
Analyze sales reports and marketplace profitability.
Financial Reporting
Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
Experience with Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Good understanding of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
Knowledge of e-commerce accounting and marketplace reconciliations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Additional certifications in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance will be an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in e-commerce, retail, D2C, or online marketplace businesses.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
