We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines while supporting patient care and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and patient safety.
- Maintain proper stock and inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
- Ensure storage of medicines as per pharmaceutical standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding medication requirements.
- Maintain pharmacy records, billing, and documentation.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely replacement of medicines.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
- Follow hospital protocols, NABH standards, and statutory pharmacy regulations.
- Handle emergency medication requirements efficiently.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Valid Karnataka State Pharmacy Council Registration
- Minimum 1–3 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Freshers with good communication and technical knowledge may also apply
