We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist / HR Business Partner who can build and strengthen the people function while supporting a fast-paced, high-performance investment banking environment.( Immediate e joiner from Mumbai )

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Hiring
* Own the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding across investment banking, finance, operations, sales, research, compliance, and support functions.
* Partner with business leaders to understand manpower planning and hiring priorities.
* Build strong talent pipelines through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, consultants, and networking.
* Conduct initial screening, interview coordination, salary negotiations, and offer rollouts.
* Develop employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality finance and banking professionals.
* Ensure faster turnaround time and quality hiring aligned with business goals.
2. Employee Onboarding & Experience
* Design and implement a structured onboarding and induction program for new employees.
* Ensure smooth joining documentation, orientation, and system access coordination.
* Help new hires integrate into the company culture and business processes efficiently.
* Create onboarding checklists, welcome kits, HR manuals, and training coordination.
* Act as the first point of contact for employee support and queries.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
* Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, employee records, and documentation.
* Draft and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, offer letters, appointment letters, and employment agreements.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.
* Coordinate with payroll vendors and finance teams for salary processing and compliance-related activities.
* Maintain HRMIS and employee databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
4. Performance Management & Organizational Development
* Implement performance management frameworks such as OKRs, KRAs, monthly reviews, and structured feedback mechanisms.
* Coordinate appraisal cycles and support leadership in employee performance discussions.
* Track employee productivity, goal alignment, and development plans.
* Support learning & development initiatives to improve employee capabilities and leadership readiness.
5. Culture Building & Employee Engagement
* Drive employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, celebrations, and wellness programs.
* Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven, and collaborative work culture.
* Build HR initiatives focused on employee retention and motivation.
* Conduct employee feedback sessions and help address workplace concerns proactively.
* Promote strong communication and transparency across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* 3–6 years of experience in HR Generalist, HRBP, Talent Acquisition, or HR Operations roles.
* Prior experience in investment banking, financial services, fintech, consulting, startup ecosystem, or NBFC environment preferred.
* Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
* Experience in building HR processes and policies from the ground up.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* High ownership mindset with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, HR tools, and recruitment platforms.
