Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a medical sales representative based in Udupi. The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building strong customer relationships, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, this role involves staying informed on the latest medical developments and ensuring product knowledge to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote company products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights.
- Ensure regular reporting of sales performance and field activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1* year of experience* in pharmaceutical sales.
- Fluency in English and Kannada.
- Strong network and relationships with doctors and healthcare providers in and around Udupi.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve sales targets while working independently.
- Knowledge of medicine and pharmacy to provide accurate product information to healthcare professionals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused.
- Valid two-wheeler licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
