As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to understand their workflows, data, and operational challenges. Your primary goal will be to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology by implementing, customizing, and deploying AI-powered solutions within real-world production environments.
You will collaborate with clients, product teams, and engineers to integrate our AI platform (Redtie) into existing systems, ensuring reliable performance, seamless integrations, and measurable impact. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, working directly with customers, and delivering results quickly.
- Embed with clients to understand their business processes, workflows, data, and operational constraints.
- Customize and deploy the Redtie AI platform within client environments.
- Build integrations with third-party applications, APIs, databases, and external systems.
- Implement data pipelines, authentication systems, SSO integrations, deployment workflows, and monitoring solutions.
- Own the reliability and performance of production deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live environments.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver client-specific enhancements and solutions.
- Continuously improve deployment processes and client outcomes.
- Deliver solutions rapidly and iterate based on measurable business results.
- Strong software engineering experience with at least one programming language.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies.
- Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of deployment processes, monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience working with authentication systems and identity management solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with clients and manage ambiguity effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong bias toward execution and delivering outcomes.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Prior consulting, solutions engineering, customer-facing engineering, or embedded delivery experience.
- Familiarity with AI platform deployment and operational best practices.
