Montessori Teacher Required — Freelance Project
Studio Atelier is looking for a passionate and experienced Montessori Teacher for a freelance, home-based early-learning project.
Role
You will conduct engaging Montessori-inspired sessions for a curious 1-year-old child, supporting her early development through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging sessions using safe, hands-on materials, songs, stories, movement and practical-life activities.
- Observe the child’s interests, developmental progress and learning style.
- Share simple weekly activity plans and progress updates with parents.
- Guide the family on activities and routines that can be continued at home.
- Maintain a warm, patient, safe and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements
- Montessori certification, Early Childhood Education qualification.
- Experience working with children aged 1–3 years is essential.
- Strong understanding of child-led learning and developmental milestones.
- Patient, nurturing, creative and reliable.
- Comfortable travelling to Borivali West, Mumbai.
- Create engaging activities with readily available materials.
Engagement Details
- Type: Freelance / part-time project
- Location: Borivali West, Mumbai
- Schedule: 5–6 days a week; timings can be mutually decided
- Compensation: Based on experience, qualifications and hours committed
