About the Role
CityNeeds is looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor who can transform real stories into engaging visual content that creates social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, short videos, documentaries and social media content.
- Create engaging videos that connect with audiences.
- Work on real stories and projects that create meaningful impact.
- Collaborate with the CityNeeds team to develop powerful visual content.
- Add creative storytelling, transitions, music, graphics and effects where appropriate.
- Stay updated with video editing trends and visual storytelling techniques.
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines and deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong video editing skills and creativity.
- Good understanding of storytelling, emotions and visual communication.
- Ability to create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube/social media videos and short-form content.
- Good understanding of current social media video trends.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience with professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools will be an advantage.
