About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Export/Import Documentation to independently handle the complete export and import documentation process. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of international trade documentation, shipping procedures, customs regulations, and destination import clearance, ensuring smooth and timely movement of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete end-to-end export and import documentation process.
- Prepare, review, and process all export/import documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Bill, Insurance Documents, and other statutory documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers (CHA), shipping lines, airlines, banks, and overseas customers.
- Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, RBI, GST, and other applicable export-import regulations.
- Track shipments and coordinate with destination agents to ensure smooth import customs clearance.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment-related issues promptly.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Logistics, Finance, Production, and Sales for timely shipment execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in export-import policies and international trade regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in handling export and import documentation.
- Strong knowledge of the complete export-import cycle and destination import clearance procedures.
- Experience in coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and overseas agents.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments within deadlines.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification or qualification in Export-Import Management, International Trade, or Logistics will be an added advantage.
Compensation
- Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on experience and suitability).
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
