As a Technician at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to medical professionals and patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of medical equipment and devices, including but not limited to X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound machines.
- Assist medical professionals in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures, while ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all equipment maintenance and repairs, and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist in the transportation and positioning of patients for various medical procedures and tests, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, and ensure that all equipment is properly sanitized and prepared for use.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Completion of a recognized technician program is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working as a technician in a healthcare setting.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
