E-Commerce Manager & Shopify Developer
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated E-Commerce Manager & Shopify Developer to take ownership of our digital storefront. As a premium lab-grown diamond jewelry brand, we are currently partnering with a top-tier agency to develop a new, state-of-the-art Shopify website. Upon its launch, you will be entrusted to take the helm—ensuring the platform’s seamless daily operation, executing continuous technical improvements, and elevating the overall digital customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background in Shopify, a sharp eye for luxury aesthetics, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies like AI to drive visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Ownership & Optimization: Assume full management of the newly developed Shopify website post-launch, ensuring peak performance, smooth functionality, and an intuitive user experience.
- Product & Inventory Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of adding new jewelry collections to the site, maintaining accurate product listings, and managing digital inventory seamlessly.
- AI-Driven Visual Merchandising: Utilize advanced AI image generation tools to create realistic, high-quality model imagery and lifestyle mockups for new and existing products.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously analyze site metrics and user journeys to identify opportunities for UX/UI improvements, implementing solutions that drive engagement and conversion.
- Technical Development: Execute front-end improvements, integrate essential third-party apps, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep the website aligned with e-commerce best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience managing and developing Shopify platforms, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or jewelry sectors.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing AI generation tools to create professional-grade visual assets.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce user experience (UX) and customer journey optimization.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and go above and beyond without micro-management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all digital touchpoints reflect the high standards of a premium jewelry brand.
