The Amgen India Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) Scientific Business Analyst(BA) role will primarily focus onanalyzing scientific requirements from Global Research and translating them into efficient and effective information systems solutions. As a domain expert, the prospective BA collaborate with cross-functional teams to identifydata product enhancement opportunities, perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support system implementation and maintenance. Additionally, it will involve development ofdata product launch and user adoption strategy of Amgen Research Foundational Data Systems.Your expertise in business process analysis and technology will contribute to the successful delivery of IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and meet business objectives.
This role requires expertise in biopharma scientific domains as well as informatics solution delivery. Additionally, extensive collaboration withglobal teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and be a Scaled Agile practitioner, coupled withchange management and transformation experience. This role demands the ability to deliver againstkey organizational strategic initiatives, foster a collaborative environment, and deliver high-quality results in a matrixed organizational structure.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with global research teams to support data and analytics needs across biologics discovery, protein engineering, and preclinical studies

Act as a Scientific Business Analyst within a SAFe team, providing biological domain expertise in assay data, molecular characterization, and cell-based studies

Partner with scientists to capture and translate requirements related to biologics design, screening assays, and in vitro/in vivo experiments into actionable user stories

Develop insightful dashboards and applications to enable analysis of experimental data, assay results, and biological performance metrics (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Dash, Streamlit, RShiny)

Support integration of data from ELN/LIMS and research systems, ensuring consistent and accessible biological datasets

Contribute to data harmonization and standardization across biologics workflows to enable cross-study analysis

Support data migration and integration to Benchling, ensuring high-quality, well-structured biological and experimental data

Identify risks related to data quality, experimental variability, and user adoption, and drive mitigation strategies

Create documentation, training, and communication materials to support scientists in adopting data and analytics solutions

Enable incorporation of biological data into AI/ML-driven research workflows

Ability to drive change and user adoption of research data platforms and analytics solutions within scientific teams

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge communication between scientists, data teams, and IT
