Job Summary
We are looking for a Python Automation Script Developer with 2+ years of experience in developing browser-based automation scripts, business process automation, workflow automation, and system integrations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar browser automation frameworks and be able to automate complex web-based workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for business processes.
- Build browser automation solutions using Selenium WebDriver or similar frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer).
- Automate web applications, form submissions, report downloads, data extraction, and workflow execution.
- Integrate automation scripts with REST APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
- Develop scheduled automation jobs using Cron, Windows Task Scheduler, or similar tools.
- Process and manipulate Excel, CSV, PDF, JSON, and XML files.
- Implement robust logging, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation scripts.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand and automate manual workflows.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or similar browser automation frameworks such as Playwright or Puppeteer.
- Experience in browser automation, web scraping, and UI automation.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM elements.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OCR automation.
- Experience with CAPTCHA handling techniques (where legally and technically appropriate).
- Knowledge of Flask or FastAPI.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka) is an added advantage.
