Embedded Systems Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware and embedded software for microcontroller-based systems and IoT devices. The candidate will work closely with hardware and software teams to develop reliable, high-performance embedded solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++
- Work with microcontrollers such as ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.
- Design and implement communication protocols like:
- UART
- SPI
- I2C
- CAN
- RS232/RS485
- Develop and debug device drivers and peripheral interfaces
- Work on RTOS-based applications such as FreeRTOS
- Perform hardware-software integration and testing
- Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems issues
- Support product development from prototype to production
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of C language and Embedded C
- Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded architectures
- Knowledge of communication protocols
- Familiarity with RTOS concepts
- Basic understanding of electronics and circuit debugging
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer
- Knowledge of Linux Embedded Systems is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Embedded Systems
- Computer Engineering
- Related field
- Internship or project experience in embedded systems preferred
Experience
- Freshers to 3 years of experience can apply
Good to Have
- IoT development experience
- Python scripting knowledge
- PCB bring-up experience
- Wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee)
- Git/version control knowledge
