Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Planning Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for construction projects. The role will involve preparing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare baseline project schedules using Primavera / MS Project.
- Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity sequencing.
- Create short-term and long-term project execution plans.
Progress Monitoring
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against the schedule.
- Identify delays, risks, and bottlenecks in execution.
- Recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with civil, MEP, façade, and finishing teams for schedule updates.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings with site and management teams.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and progress charts.
Resource & Cost Planning
- Assist in resource planning for manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support cost tracking and productivity analysis.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and critical activities.
Documentation & Controls
- Maintain planning records, schedules, and revisions.
- Track change orders, delays, and extension of time (EOT) cases.
- Ensure proper documentation of project timelines and milestones.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Good understanding of civil, MEP, and finishing activities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong coordination and reporting abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in project planning for construction projects.
- Hands-on experience in schedule preparation and monitoring.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects preferred.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
