Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, well-organized, and patient-focused Admin In-Charge to oversee day-to-day hospital administrative and operational activities. The ideal candidate should have good communication and coordination skills, the ability to manage staff and patient-related matters, and a strong focus on service quality and smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, and IP discharge processes. Provide patient counseling and guide patients regarding hospital services and procedures. Handle insurance coordination, pre-authorizations, documentation, and claim follow-ups. Act as the primary point of contact for patient queries, requests, and concerns. Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards are maintained. Manage daily floor operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments. Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, reception, pharmacy, insurance teams, and other hospital departments. Handle and resolve patient complaints professionally while ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. Monitor the overall patient experience and maintain quality service standards. Assist hospital management with daily administrative and operational activities. Prepare daily/weekly reports and maintain accurate records and documentation. Monitor staff coordination and ensure assigned duties are completed efficiently. Support management in implementing hospital policies, procedures, and operational improvements. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Candidates should be 30 years of age or above .
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in hospital administration / healthcare operations preferred.
Freshers and candidates without relevant work experience need not apply.
Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate with doctors, nurses, patients, attendants, and support staff. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to handle patient complaints and operational issues calmly and professionally. Basic knowledge of insurance processes, hospital documentation, and billing procedures is preferred.
