Responsibilities:
1. Preparing 2D detailed drawings and 3D models as per engineer’s concept / instructions.

3. Drafting mechanical parts, assemblies, sheet metal components, fabrication items etc.
4. Accurately applying GD&T symbols, welding symbols, fits & tolerance in drawings.
5. Reviewing own drawings for correctness, accuracy and manufacturability before release.
6. Updating existing drawings as per revision / ECO / change request from engineering.
7. Preparing clear, structured drawing views and BOM details as per company standards.
8. Interacting with design engineers to clarify drawing requirements and solve queries.
9. Maintaining proper record of drawings, formats, templates and drawing control system.
10. Ensuring all drawings follow applicable standards, drafting guidelines and industry practice.
11. Coordinating with production team for drawing interpretation and clarifications if required
12.To Ensure all are aware of IMS Policy & IMS Objectives
Essential Skills:
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) – must
2. Working knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo for basic 3D modeling.
3. Good understanding of GD&T and ISO / ASME drafting standards.
4. Strong knowledge of dimensioning, tolerance stack-up and views.
5. Practical understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
6. Experience in BOM preparation and update.
7. Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
8. High accuracy, detail orientation and neat drafting quality
9. Ability to work independently on drawing assignments.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field, Diploma in mechanical
Relevant Experience:
1-10 years of experience in the domain of power transmission products (Bearings, Gears and Gearbox, Pulley, Material handling equipment’s, clutch, brakes, others-pumps, Compressors, etc.)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
