Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theory sessions related to compositing and post-production.
- Explain industry workflows using real-world production examples.
- Demonstrate techniques for shot preparation, compositing, and final output.
- Design classroom exercises, assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Mentor students in developing portfolio projects and basic showreel content.
- Keep training material aligned with current industry practices.
- Work with the academic team to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum.
Technical Competencies
Candidates should have practical knowledge of:
- Digital compositing workflows
- Rotoscoping, paint, and cleanup techniques
- Green-screen keying and camera/object tracking
- Color correction and shot balancing
- Multi-pass compositing and layer management
- Fundamentals of VFX production pipelines
Software Knowledge
Experience with the following applications is expected:
- Adobe After Effects
- Nuke (basic to intermediate proficiency)
- Adobe Photoshop
Knowledge of the following will be considered an advantage:
- Mocha or Silhouette
- Autodesk Maya or other 3D software
- Adobe Premiere Pro
Eligibility
- Master's degree/Bachalor's in Animation, Visual Effects, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the VFX industry, training, or a combination of both.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and structured manner.
